Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Garden

This tiny little garden on the corner of Railway Street & New Walkergate was created jointly by East Riding of Yorkshire Council & Beverley Town Council for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012, celebrating her 60th year on the throne.

Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Garden

It was formally an area totally paved with red brick, very bland, very boring. Over the last few years a great effort has been made tidying up odd corners of Beverley with tubs, planters and baskets of flowers helping it to win the “Best Town 2017” and “Yorkshire Rose Award” at the “Yorkshire in Bloom” awards.
